In 2009, I experienced a kundalini awakening, this is a modified state of consciousness which is relatively little known in the west, but well known and researched by those practising meditation in the east. Although I did not recognise it at the time, this striking experience profoundly changed me via a long process of integration and work on personal development. In addition, this experience allowed me to develop the capacity to rapidly enter a state of cognitive trance which allows me to effectively treat a range of symptoms using energy healing practices.

As a result, I, of course, studied spiritual emergences which are unfortunately taboo and poorly understood by many mental health professionals. This is why, over a period of three years, I completed a Master’s thesis in the form of experimental research on the psychological consequences of experiences of imminent death (EID) at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Geneva, in conjunction with the Faculty of Theology. This work, which was the first quantitative study into EIDs in Switzerland, earned me the title of Master’s in Psychology, focussing on clinical and developmental psychology in 2017.

During my professional career, I have worked in medical care, in medical radiology, in special education and professional integration of handicapped persons and in psychology in the private, public and military sectors. Between 2017 and 2020, I also lived in my other native country, the Seychelles, where I practised as an independent clinical psychologist and energy therapist with licences awarded by the state of the Seychelles. Specifically, I contributed to the protection of children’s rights, to training carers looking after patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and to promoting full-conscience meditation in schools. With an ethnic and psychological vision in mind, it was really enriching to work in the Seychelles, as this Créole population often has different cultural and spiritual beliefs that allow them to explain illnesses and their treatments.

At the beginning of the pandemic, I was forced to decide to return to live in Switzerland in 2020.

Since 2021, I have had a private practice as a FSP psychologist in Pully, Geneva and Fribourg. I also promote energy healing practices in the field of mental health as the population is increasingly demanding holistic approaches to taking care of themselves. I also collaborate on scientific research projects linking mental and spiritual health.  ​
