Energy healing are psychological and physical approaches categorised as complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) which are increasingly being used in integrative medicine departments and in mental health. Current scientific research shows that they can significantly relieve pain, anxiety, burnout, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, symptoms of depression, stress, side effects of chemo, problems with fatigue and muscle tension and respiratory and cardiovascular issues. It also promotes general well-being and relaxation.
The population are increasingly interested in looking after themselves using energy practices, such as reiki, healing touch, qi gong, yoga, magnetism, etc. The concept of vital energy has been known since the dawn of time, it is used in personal development and healing process in the majority of cultural traditions all over the world.
Approach to treatment The energy healing I offer are complementary to conventional medicine in the field of energy and biology, more commonly known under the name Biofield. These treatments have the advantage of being holistic, effective, natural and non-invasive and having no negative side effects. The treatment is also approached from a scientific perspective. I practise energy healing through the intermediary of a cognitive trance state. How sessions work During the session, I put myself into a dreamlike state which allows me to know intuitively how to move my hands around the patient. There is no physical contact and patients remain clothed. Often, during sessions, patients tell me they feel sensations of hot and cold, of an electric current or tingling, either in the areas to be treated or all over their body. These sensations are normal, and they indicate that the energy is healing them. Sometimes, patients can experience intense emotions or enter into alternative states of consciousness during the treatment. Effects of my energy treatment healing At the end of the energy healing session, my patients often tell me that they feel lighter, and they are often amazed to discover that their physical pain has lessened or disappeared so quickly. I also tell them that the positive energy activated in them will continue to heal them over several days and they could still see improvements. It is impossible for me to say with certainty if the effect of the session is short, medium or long term, but in the majority of cases, I observe that the therapeutic effect lasts several days, weeks or months, depending on the situation. Ethical framework There is no reason to stop treatments prescribed by a doctor. Sessions are no replacement for consulting a doctor. In order to respect everybody’s freedom of religion and conscience, there is no form of political, religious or spiritual influence. My energy treatments are provided in accordance with the regulatory framework of the Swiss Federation of Psychologists. Contraindication For my session, there is a contraindication for persons:
